Plans, tokens and optimizations

AgentFi bills against two independent counters: the monthly optimizations package and the token balance. This page explains what each plan includes and which action spends what.

The two currencies#

Optimizations#

An optimization is an AI rewrite of one page so AI search engines understand it better. Each plan includes a monthly package.

What spends one optimization:

  • Optimize All, optimizing a single page, or re-running a page with feedback.
  • Auto-optimization: each new or changed page it processes.

When the package runs out, auto-optimization keeps going by spending tokens instead. Manual optimization pauses until the package resets or you upgrade.

Tokens#

Tokens are the single currency for LLM work in AgentFi. One token is consumed per unit of work:

ActionCost
Search Visibility — Run All, Run Outdated or a single run1 token per active query, per configured engine.
Scheduled auto-testsEach fire of a recurring schedule consumes tokens the same way as Run All.
Reputation deep-dive follow-upsExtra queries the system generates when analysing brand reputation.
Auto-optimization once the package is used up1 token per further page optimized.

Extra usage#

When tokens hit zero, any additional token you spend is billed as Extra usage at your plan's per-token rate. The sidebar shows it in red, with the number of extra tokens and the accumulated amount.

Info

On the Free plan there is no extra usage: scheduled runs pause until the next billing period. It is a hard stop, not a charge.

Current Period Usage#

Under Manage account → Plan & Billing you get the full detail of the period: the active plan, the date range, and progress bars for sites, optimizations, feed imports and search queries run. The reset date for usage is stated at the bottom.

The same panel shows your plan's limits: number of sites, pages per site and whether feed import is enabled.

Changing plan#

From Plans & Pricing in the sidebar, or from View all plans in the billing panel. You can upgrade or downgrade whenever you like; the new limits apply immediately after payment.

Note

If your plan is marked Admin assigned, it is managed by your organization's admins and you cannot change it from this screen.

When you hit a limit#

The dashboard shows a specific notice depending on what ran out:

SituationMessage
Maximum sitesYou have reached the maximum number of sites on your current plan.
Optimizations used upYou have used every optimization included in your plan this month.
Feed import unavailableThe feature is not included in your current plan. Growth Business
Tokens used upYou have used all your tokens this period. On paid plans, spending continues as extra usage.

The quota resets at the start of the next billing period.

Keeping costs under control#

  1. Set a monthly token cap on auto-optimization. See Auto-optimization.
  2. Use Run Outdated instead of Run All in the daily routine: it only tests what has gone more than 7 days without a measurement.
  3. Tune the schedule cadences. Weekly covers almost every case; daily multiplies the cost by seven.
  4. Reduce the number of active queries. Every query is multiplied by the number of engines on each run.
  5. Exclude pages that add nothing before optimizing in bulk: duplicated legal pages, checkout flows, internal content.
  6. Audit usage in Change history, where every action shows what it spent.
